Credit crunch victims

Ten tankers are anchored off the coast of Devon, waiting for the oil price to rise so that they can offload their cargo.

Devon knows all about the history of smuggling. The UK Borders Agency has been on the case. The tankers have been raided.

While they are parked in UK waters the crew may not make use of their stocks of duty free beer & cigarettes, they must buy them duty paid, like everyone else
