Golliwoggs & serviettes

I was not sure if I should use that title for this post, but I have just checked & the programme which screens out undesirable websites from the library system does not bar those containing the G word

The latest BBC behind-the-scenes-unacceptable-language scandal seems to me to be another fine example of the occasion for a reason


If only we could have a Nancy Mitford for our politically correct age to guide us through, with humour, this minefield of A and non-A words
